Has anyone looked over the schedule of new issues set to be released within the next four weeks? It's quite a few (6 different issues to be exact) and if one were inclined to buy the entire sheetlet (or coil) of each one it would set you back at least $66.00!

July 27: Owney the Postal Dog
July 28: US Merchant Marine
Aug. 11: Flags of our Nation (coil of 50)
Aug. 12: Eid
Aug. 19: Send a Hello (Disney/Pixar)
Aug. 20: Edward Hopper

I have no idea why the USPS decides to issue so many stamps so close together in the middle of the summer months, but it's quite a list to be sure.

I guess the reason the issue so many in the summer months is because more people are able to travel easier in warm months and schedule vacations/time off to attend the first day ceremonies. I am looking forward to the Owney & Pixar stamps.

I can't wait for the Merchant Marine ones. Those are beautiful.
