Hi Everyone,
Can anyone tell me what exactly is going on in this stamp? Looks like a car almost ran over a person on a bike but I am not sure, and I tried a translator online with no luck on what it says.
Thank you!

Sue Stamps, looks like the Bicycle does not have a tail light for the car driver to see!

Again, a Google translation from the Hungarian language suggests the caption reads "Lights on the Bike!"

Thanks for the translation and comments. I never really thought that the arrow was pointing right at a place on the bike where there should be a tail light. Thanks for pointing that out.

I love stamps like this where they "puzzle" me. lolol... Have a good day everyone!

The guy in the car could be saying, "Sorry mack, but I heard that the post office is giving away a free beer with the new stamp issues for the first 50 people who show up and I heard #49 just left!".

LOL... Well since I like stamps AND beer, you'll see me in line!

I wonder if there is a stamp that shows any alcoholic beverages!

Here in the US we have to be satisified with revenue stamps that show taxes paid on beer, wine and alcoholic beverages.

However, it doesn't mean that other countries haven't isssues stamps with alcoholic beverages depicted on it ... take this one from the Czech Republic which shows a glass of wine:

This series (1973)was issued to publicize traffic rules. This one says 'Light your bicycle'. The crosswalk issue you posted elsewhere says 'Let's be Friends in Traffic'. And there's a third that says 'Not even one drink'. Love to see that one.
They are Scotts# 22447-2249.
I love the 1950s style illustrations, even though they are from the 70s. Brought to you from behind the iron curtain.

Not a great image, but here's the 3 stamp series set of the 1973 Hungary Traffic Safety Stamps. This ebay seller has more than one at a "buy it now" price of $1 for anyone so inclined:

Hi I_Love_Stamps!
Thanks, I have some more stamps I would like some opinions on, but I wasn't sure if I shouldn't have too many new threads at once.
Thanks again, I love SCF!

Hi wt1,
Those are some great stamps. Thanks for the info regarding USA with alcoholic beverages on them. I don't believe I have a stamp with a glass of wine on them. I need more stamps!
Thanks again!

jamesw,
What does that mean when you say: from behind the iron curtain?

Thanks so much for the link. I did not know this was a set of 3. I wish I had the other one. I have duplicates of each of the ones I posted though.
