Scott #155

Is there any "easy" way of identifying #155? I've been trying to fill that hole in the collection and so far have ended up with two #166 and a #191. I just brought home this stamp

and don't really want to send it to Weiss for identification if I can do it myself. Any suggestions.

Also, how can I get ahold of Seal, I've looked for the site but my technology skills are pretty minimal.

Dave, welcome. I don't believe there is an easy way to ID this. Scott 155, 166 and 191 were all printed from plate #23 with no secret marks. And all were various shades of carmine. The only difference that I know of is that #191 was printed on soft porous paper; 155 and 166 were printed on hard white.
