My name is Stefano, I am Italian (and I collect stamps from the Italian area) but live in the UK.
I also collect stamps (rather than postal history) from the Baltic area (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Memel, Danzig), and a few more countries. However in line of principle I tend to buy any stamp I like.
My other hobby is puzzle. It's cheaper (and in this period of crisis this is an important detail)

Ciao again
stefano

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.
Puzzler, did we know each other already? I know a few Canadian puzzlers, and in the last WPC in Poland I joined the 3 Canadian players to maxe a UN team.

Just to start showing something, here is a Swiss stamp with personalized tab designed by my son (a fanatic of Ferrari and car racing). At that time he was 10. It was one of the first examples in the world of stamp where you could design your own attachment.

No, I do not believe so. I would have liked to be there but usually I am a lone puzzler. Thank you for asking though.

Many other collectors post a page of their collections as part of the self introduction; so do I.
As many of you problably know, this year is Italy's 150th birthday. The kingdom of Italy was officially proclaimed 150 years ago. To celebrate the event, The Italian community living in Manchester has
organized a number of initiatives, including a historical ehxibition; I contributed to this exhibition with a display of some of the stamps from my collection. Here is the most representative page. It shows a map of the states in which Italy was divided before the unification (some of them are still independent), with a stamp (or a potal item anyway) for each of the countries, or territories.
