Ok, I'm been trying to organize my Asia collections (As I've done so with Africa and The Middle East/Central Asia) but I'm going into territory where its confusing and frustrating. I dislike it intensely when Countries do not put years on the stamps as in the case of Taiwan and now India.
So I'm been searching this stamp for the past 2 hours trying to use google, bidstart or something to try and come up with a scott number that I can use or at least an Year that I can search in. I've found two 1979 and 1984 when these stamps were released, but its becoming frustrating.
Can anybody please tell me what year was 936A for India released and if they would be so kind as to tell me the scott number?
Can't give you a Scott number, and my Gibbons is from 2002 (the last year Part 1 covered all years), but SG 936 then was the 10 Rupee value of the 1979-1988 definitive set. SG 936 itself was issued on the 24 February 1984, with watermark sideways, and in 1988 with watermark upright.
