How do people store the current sheets (sheetlets) from the USPS - the ones that have 20 stamps. I refuse to buy expensive mounts and so far I have just put them loose on top of a cardstock inside a sheet protector but that isn't very attractive. I have put them on a Vario page and again covered with a sheet protector but that seems kind of expensive. I also have bought some special stamp self adhesive corners and while I have tried them and I guess they work well I have been nervous about the self adhesive - I admit if I put two on the bottom corners of the sheet on a cardstock and put that in a sheet protector it seems to work well. But am I missing an obvious way to deal with these? I mix the sheets up with individual stamps in my books so I don't want to just put them in a sheet file separate from other stamps.

I would strongly suggest avoiding corner mounts. They've destroyed many a collection. They will leave either a depression or a stain on the philatelic item if the collection is not stored properly, and might also leave a stain even if the collection is stored properly. Never use them for stamp, especially souvenir sheets. They are more suited for mounting covers, but even then I strongly discourage their use.

I use mint sheet albums. You can get them with black-backed double-sided pages, or single-sided clear (so you can see any printing on the backside. An album of 50 double-sided pages (including binder), will run you $30+. The pages are also UV transparent, so you can actually check your stamp luminescence without removing them. I have over a dozen of these and they've worked great for me. They are great for storing other oversized items, such as S/S, over-sized plate blocks...

For the smaller panes (~20-25 stamps), they will fit in the Vario pages. However, the Vario are not UV transparent. The sheet protectors really aren't necessary for the 1-strip Varios, unless you are concerned about dropping your album upside-down.
