Well, my plunge into collecting Guatemala is now official. I've replaced my ATA affiliation, as shown in my signature below, with my new International Society of Guatemala Collectors number.

It' all your fault. Way to go Phil!

BTW New Collectors: When you get somewhat established in the hobby and can afford to, I highly recommend that you join at least one stamp club and/or society. As you can see, I belong to the APS, GPS, ATA, and now the ISGC. I learn a lot from their publications and I feel like my dues are helping to ensure the future of philately.

Good for you, LA Swabbie. I am a member of the board-of-directors of SOCORICO (the Society of Costa Rica Collectors). You'll not go wrong with the membership of such a club, and the study of a single country.

Phil's a good mentor, eh?

I hope you didn't cancel your ATA membership. I am a member of the ATA. I collect CARDIOLOGY on stamps. I better start a new thread for that.

Cheers!
