I have 2 stamps that I believe to be Scott #9. Can someone confirm please? I'm making this determination by looking at the recut lines on the bottom frame.

I see no evidence of recutting on the top stamp so is a #7, the bottom stamp looks recut once at top and once at bottom and certainly is a #9.

The top stamp sure shows just how close these stamps were on the printing plate. And how difficult it is to get these one cent Franklins with decent margins. In fact there may be no margins at all, unless you count the part of the adjacent stamp as a "margin".
