Sorry for not posting additional pages from the Colonel's album lately, but we have been relocated due to the wildfires in Texas. Our house is still standing, but only one of the few. There were 66 houses on our road last Sunday. Today, only 7 stand. Fortunately, his albums were safely stored in another location, so all is well! We are still not able to return home to see the damage, but hope they will allow us back in by the middle of next week. All of our neighbors' homes were lost. As soon as my life returns to normal, I will post additional pages...just do not know when that will be. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for the people of Bastrop, TX!
It's hard to know what to say, excepting we Aussies know a little bit about the tragedy of bushfires. Good to know you are safe and well, and I hope your damage is minimal. I'd say it will be quite a while before you are back to normal. Bless all the firefighters.
I follow the news and see the terrible damage caused by the wildfires. txblueeyes, glad to know that you are safe. There are so many tragic stories from the fires. Be safe, and welcome back.
