I needed these three stamps,

I found them on a FDC and was very pleased with them.
The lady at the swap meet had a box of 400 FDC to sell for $150.
I was so tempted but don't tell trigger

I only bought these 2 and 1 for scouts for $5.00

I think $150 (US) would be worth it depending on condition, etc. I know someone who buys the covers if he comes across them when he wants a stamp-then soaks the stamp off! I would think that would be killing a fine cover!

Yes Rick, I just write FDC next to the stamp in my book, I don't have but have on a FDC.
I still want the stamp but it no longer is a priority.

Bandicoot I would pay $100 for 400 worldwide covers..there has to be some better ones..and at 25 cents apiece what can you lose..400 is a lot of cover to go through !! thats about what the dealers pay that let you root through tubs of covers at a buck apiece at the stamp shows !!

Phil:

If you've 400 covers, I'll go through them at your place. I'd pay $1 a cover to you, heck, it keeps the money in the family, eh?

$14. 04 $16. depending on your brand for a pack of 40.
Either way you die coughing and regretting.

Stamps? Maybe a bit of regret (for the one you didn't buy).
