We world wide collectors and dumpster divers should have no allusions about the monetary worth of our collections...dealers pick them up very cheap..if you do not believe me...bid on a box lot with one of the auction houses..you may get a big box with 3 or 4 worldwide collections..for 40 or 50 dollars per album ! Yes if you specialize and buy only prima stuff..you can get 30 percent at auction !! Good news is we can get something back..plus a lot of fun in the bargain if we really enjoy collecting !

I agree totally Phil. I Know I sometimes get overwelmed by the number of countries there are but I just can't get myself to pick just a few.

All I know is that I'm gonna need a whole lot of albums when I get a chance to go through some of them. I think I have about 200 countries now And I think there are a whole bunch more.

Phil:

I narrowed myself down to the Empire and Commonwealth (half the world), and one reign (1937-52). Do I qualify as a worldwide collector?

Thank goodness I'm NOT a worldwide collector. My brain is so full and I barely have time enough just collecting Germany and Guatemala that I can't imagine what it would be like with 200 countries.

I guess I would consider anyone who collects a continent, or maybe a dozen or so countries, a WW collector. With my two G countries, I'm certainly not. If I were rich and retired however . . . .

Okay Phil... I'm an advanced, specialised collector of the KGVI Reign of our Empire and Commonwealth. If you add in my specialised collection of Costa Rica, and my collection of Netherlands Indies/Indonesia... I guess I'm still not a w/w collector. Tee hee hee.

Oh well... I'll leave that to you and your beautiful set of Scott International albums... a lovely collection you have, Phil.
