Stopped by one of the local consignment type antique stores this morning hoping to find something stamp related. And I did :)
It was all in a sealed bag with only some of it showing. Had a price tag of $20 on it so I figured what the hell. I got to the register and the clerk told me that seller was having a 30% off sale so it ended up costing $14. Not too bad I think
Looks like fun..the thrift and antique shops usually do not know how to price stamps...one time I was at a thift shop near my Dads place in Florida and I saw a bag of U.S. sheets...Marilyn Monroe..etc under the glass counter...it said $60 face value U.S. for $41 dollars or something to that effect..so I purchased the bag and it turned out the face value was closer to $120 ! I don't know who did the counting but it was a nice surprise !
