Welcome to SCF neweden.

I know nothing about Straits Settlements except for what I can read in the Scotts catalog. Does the cancel on the $25 KGV indicate postal or fiscal use?

Neweden, welcome to SCF and thanks for sharing some of your collection. I have recently picked up some Straits Settlements to go with my Commonwealth collection. You have some nice stamps.

tomiseksj..
unfortunately the cancel that you see is a revenue one, the postal cancels for these are harder to find than hens teeth.
I should point out here that I only collect used stamps, and whilst I do have some mint stuff my primary interests are with BC stamps..

But still an impressive design -- and one fitting for a King!

Is that the 1915 issue or the later one on chalky paper?

Why does KGV look like he is emitting a white mist from his chin?
