... all arrived at the same time, in a stroke of fortune!

For your viewing pleasure is the US National Parks covers I purchased here on SCF (Thank you, Tomiseki!) with the first two placed inside my new Schaubek covers albums.

The binders and slipcases are the same ones used for the Schaubek US National album as well as the Schaubek Canada specialized album. Notice the proprietary 6 ring binder configuration that is incompatible with just about every page on the market (including vario stock pages). So if you decide to buy these, you'll be stuck with Schaubek products (Not a criticism or endorsement, just a statement of fact).

As for the pages and display of covers, they are simply amazing (ok, this is an endorsement ). The sleeves are bound to the pages in such a way as to allow you to turn the sleeve like a page and view the back of the cover. Extremely well conceived and executed pages!

Retail on these is more than $100 for binder, slip cover, and 25 pages. I was extremely fortunate enough to find the two albums on ebay for $20/ea + shipping. Frankly, I am stunned there were no other bids, but perhaps they are new enough to the market that buyers are unsure about them? Anyways, if you see them for sale, point me to them if you don't intend to buy them yourselves

Brian

Bryan,

Glad to see the covers made it safely and have already found a nice home! I know it isn't the best solution but a one-hole punch could expand your options regarding page inserts. What is the spacing of the holes on those pages (from the bottom or top edge of the sheet)?

I will photograph with a tape measure tonight for comparison. I can't be too upset about this since I paid about 20% of retail. Still, it would be nice to add my own pages.

Brian:

I certainly would have bid on them if I had seen them .

I am a big fan of Schaubek and have several of them. And it seems I can always use an extra binder/slipcase.

Schaubek stamp album are great. I had a Greenland collection that I bought on ebay house in a Schaubek album. It has sleeves the same has your cover album. The collection was great but I had to sell it when I was unemployed. When starting a new collection and when cash is available it's the best for me to buy a collection coming with the stamp album. But I rarely seen collection coming in a Schaubek stamp album. Daniel
