Hi fellow timbologists, I am looking for any post & go labels from great Britain in any quantity. I started to collect Post and Go labels of g.b.as it is a new field of collecting, if you have any especially from abroad please let me know. Thanks for taking the time to read my message and good luck in your own field of interest. Still trying to get my 50 posts, so a reply would be appreciated. Cheers Paul.

Quote: What are GO labels Another gimmick dreamed up by RM to make money out of collectors but put RM deeper in debt. They are S/A labels purchased from expensive machines. Better than using manpower and gives the customer something to do whilst waiting hours in line to see a Postal Teller. One day, all Robots will be made this way ! |

Search ebay or wherever for 'gb post & go'. They come as a Machin-looking label in different values (1st, Europe, Worldwide for different weights in grams) and lately 2010-2011 with pictures of birds. I like them. They fit into the FRAMA or ATM (seach on SCF) category which I am keen on but don't really have many. Not sure if you can soak these used on paper in water though?? They even have Presentation Packs and FDCs! FDC = First Day Cover GB = Great Britain (or UK United Kingdom when searching) SA = self adhesive (also see PS = pressure sensitive) RM = Royal Mail (Post Office of Great Britain) |

Quote: I`ve been collecting for nearly sixty years and have just sold my collection of g.b. so me and my wife can go on cruises now wer`e retired. Hi Paul That must have been quite a collection if it's paying for your cruises. I'm hoping to take the family out to MacDonalds with the proceeds of mine. |

They kind of remind me of meter mail stickers? Wait, how can I say that they kind of remind me of, and then end it with a question mark. How do we request more smilies, lolol... |

I fear Paul is the 'edit and does not read' type of guy. 50 posts are but a pipedream. Who said that ? |

Is that a cloaked Alice in Wonderland reference by chance? Finally saw the movie and it was wonderful, passing my expectations. |
