I'm working at upgrading my 1869 pictorials and grabbed this on ebay for about 15% of catalogue value. Came in the mail yesterday, very happy with centering and cancel.  |

Great buy Western
Nicely used stamps fro that era are hard to come by and the centering on most leave a lot to be desired too. Yours is nicely centered and the cork cancellation does not detract from the design either.

I was just out bid 10 minutes ago on one and 121 proof. I lost them over 3.00! Very very nice pictorial and beautiful centering! |

Yeah I guess your right. I was willing to drop some serious cash on that #121 but I think I was bidding against a sniper. That's why I bought the other proofs sort of a cheer me up. lol I just love the centering and cancel on the above #117. That's about as perfect a centering I have personally ever seen for that. |
