If one were interested in the Banknote Series, is there a definitive book or two on the subject? I'm a pretty green collector -- I don't even have the hard vs. soft paper thing down yet. Beyond identification, I'm interested in general postal history regarding the series as well.
Thank you! The Philatelic Bibliopole site has a great list. I make heavy use of inter-library loan and there are a few on there that interest me. Also, thank you for the link to The Postage Stamps of the United States. The history at the beginning is quite interesting.
