i have been kind of in the doldrums this week..mid summer I guess..so I decided to make some room in the stamp chamber..combining two boxes into one..crushing cardboard, recycling paper etc: I cam upon a large envelope I had lost track of from David Giles...it had 3 dollars of uncancelled postage on it..and the kicker is...he wrote on the envelope "please cancel for collector" yeah right ! So David they are going back in the mail tomorrow..its about a 50/50 chance someone will take the trouble to cancel them this trip !
