Kia Ora Everyone,
Name - "Round Robin" it is. (Thanks Londonbus1)
# Stamps - 100
Type of Stamps - Mainly used off paper but maybe a couple of mint stamps & alternative stamps.
Will start #001 in - contests, quizzes, and giveaways forum as soon as I reach 50 posts.
To start,I'll do a worldwide one. If there's enough interest,I'll do countries. I know I have a lot of USA,UK,Ireland,Australia. (I'll list other countries later)
Each time I start one,I'll post a photo of the stamps I'll be sending out and a photo of the stamps as/when returned.
Questions -
1.Should the person passing on the stamps also post a photo? Yes/No.
2.Would stamps on paper be acceptable? Yes/No
3.What number of people should be on the list? 4/5/6
4.Once a person has been first on a round-robin,should they stand aside and let someone else be first on future round-robins? (They could still take part as B,C,D,E?)
Why am I doing this? I'm semi-retired,I have time on my hands,I have a lot of stamps and I keep buying more & more,(usually by the kilo) as I like sorting thru them. To me,they are like little windows of the world. a great way to travel without leaving the comfort of my armchair.
What do I get out of it? Enjoyment, friends, a surprise when the round robin gets returned to me. I live on a 10 acre block, house not much but the view -

as seen from the armchair where I sit while I'm typing this. (I'll get around to trimming the trees, one day)Whats your view from where you sit?
Badge 56 - Thanks for your 2 cents. It will be fun and anyone is welcome to jump on board for the ride. Like the london bus - you can climb on & off at will.
Londonbus1 - Many thanks.Do I owe you anything for the fare/advice? It is very much appreciated as it has me facing in the right direction now. The other side called it a chain letter and I thought I'd call it the same thing, but round-robin,it will be.
Stamperdude,Thanks for your comments. I have some postcards from the 1940/50's.
ncbuckeye - A slight misunderstand on my part. Been a two-finger typist doesn't help, but I blame the little man in my computer.
Smauggie - Many thanks for your comments.Circuit books are okay but doesn't it get your goat up,when you get blame for taking stamps and not paying the correct amount, when someone else was to blame? This way,you replace the same number of stamps, with stamps just as good and pass it on. Nothing to pay except the postage cost to pass it on to the next person in line.
stampgal - Thanks for your interest. Once I get 50 posts,it will start. I'll start working on the first 100 stamps.
Thank you all - glad the sun has yet to set.
