Hello, I'm active on, *ahem*, other stamp related forums, but just found this one and see some good stuff here.
I collect American Book Trade, especially older US bookseller and bookbinder labels from the western US. I am also interested in American book trades during the Civil War, and even have a few cool items, like a US Revenue stamp with a clear bookseller's cancel.
So, I'm a philatelic scavenger, but have found the philatelic world very useful to my collection.
I'm also interested in postal history related to the two rural Nebraska post offices my grandfather worked in from the 1960s-1980s (Albion and Stromsburg). I'm also interested in the postal history of the county and area where I'm the director of the local museum (centered on Richland County, Montana).
For an ephemera collector, my BOBs are tea bag tabs.
