January 1 (1985) Postmarked Ellis Island Commemorative Cover

As I recall, I got this cover free some years ago from a firm marketing these sort of things. Since the post office is always closed on New Year's Day, I'm not certain how a January 1, 1983 postmark was applied.

Is it bogus or just a "favor cancel"? Any ideas?

Postal Commemorative Society?? Looks like one of their cancels. Worth what you paid for it.

Not Postal Commemorative Society (but close). Reverse side has the Fleetwood logo and the title "Mort Kunstler's Epic Events in American History" along with text about the First Immigrants to Ellis Island.
