The left stamp, Scott #68, issued in 1861, is a variety I came across which looks like Washington is wearing a false eyelash.
It was probably caused by a small gouge on the plate. Compare the normal stamp on the right.

I came across this previous post by t360 and thought it deserved being looked at again. Of course, I don't think I was a member here then--anybody know, is there a way to know when you started as a forum member?

In the blue title bar at the top of the page
click on My SCF
then click on SCF_members
you should then see a table listing all our members
The day you joined is in the column with the heading "member since"

Theres a load of those money folding tricks , we had one with an english pound if you folded the queen right she showed her bum :)

I do, I do. But the weird thing is I placed all of my currency somewhere so no one would find it. I have been looking for it for over 4 months. I finally found all the coins though. Did anyone else every do this?
