This is really a computer question. I think I know how to scan stamps and post the scans with the stamps appearing as actual size. But I've noticed that y'all post scans where the stamps are enlarged which is nice because more detail is visible.

How do I post enlarged scans without losing resolution? I'm not very computer savvy so I may be asking a lot - more than I realize. If the explanation is too complicated, just tell me I need to take a computer course. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements and know a little about it - but not much.

Judy, you can crop your pictures as needed . But the forum software will automatically enlarge your pic in your post. Look on this forum page all the way to the left under tutorials (it's above the ebay browse category---read there under uploading pictures, it may help.

Thanks! What a novel idea - reading the directions! I downloaded IrfanView and I'm in learning mode.

Hi Judybug, I think the easier way is crop the picture with either Microsoft Picture Manager or even the Paint is good enough. It won't reduce the image resolution but definitely reduced the size by cropping the empty space.
