Time to bore you with some more of my new covers. But I want you to contribute too.
The US overrun countries series is quite popular here. I saw several threads devoted to them.
I got three this weekend sent to two soldiers in the US army in 1944.

And it occurred to me I don't often see these on covers. In fact it was easier to get a mint set (off cover) than a used set (still working on those).
So, let's see your overrun country series on covers.

ohhh - my bad. I posted Luxemburg twice. Now I cannot find my Korea - ugh. But here is a question for you. There are 13 stamps in the overrun countries series, but to have each of the FDC's, you would have 14 covers. Can you explain why?

just joking james ! They are great. One of my favourite Flag series'.
I may have a cover or two but it's just too late to look now.
On your first cover I loved the way the writer wrote an 'a'.
Excellent.

Maybe buckeye is talking about the 'Kopea' error ?

Probably wrong, usually am.

Here is the answer:

All of the overrun country issues had their first day of issue in Washington, D.C. except for Poland which had a first day of issue in both Washington, D.C. and Chicago. So a complete FDC set needs to include both of the Poland FDC's.
