hi,
are all gb qe2 decimal stamps still valid and are there any exceptions?
would the item be sorted as usual or need any intervention because of modern papers etc,
finally are there any problems sending them international,

thanks in advance

The only thing that I have found is that they may end up with a nasty biro scribble to cancel them. I have received mail where older decimals have been used, and they have been pen cancelled. I assume its because they are not tagged like modern stamps, and so cannot be read by the machines. The machine then spits it out and its checked and scribbled on by a person. I don't know if this is true, its just my deduction! I have used older stamps for mailing abroad, no problem.

I don't see why not. You will just have to put the right amount of stamps to cover the current postage rate,

I have never had a problem using older stamps provided they are in decimal currency. Since the removal of the 1/2p (halfpenny) coin, postal regulations require that an odd 1/2p value is rounded down, but they will accept 2 x 1/2p stamps to make up the full 1p.
