Does anyone know any countries (or stamp issuing areas) which didn't issue overprints?

I've thought of a few (and would be delighted to be proven wrong)

Southern Nigeria
Southern Rhodesia
Zimbabwe
South African Homelands:
Bophuthatswana
Ciskei
Transkei
Venda

Does anyone have overprints for these or know of any other areas or countries?

You are right in saying the homelands do not have any overprints. With Southern Rhodesia - their issued stamps do not have but their only postage due set is Great Britain overprinted "Southern Rhodesia".

Some overprints from Azores as a Portuguese colony

BUT, I don't have any since independence.

These stamps were issued by Portugal so they are not Azores overprints but Portuguese overprints.

I have none for either country. Some Nigerian stamps were overprinted with "Cameroon" when part tried to break away (from memory) and Rhodesia overprinted a 7 1/2 cent stamp with 8c.

So far, we have in order:

Afars & Issas
Ajman, Scott listed stamps
Angra
Antioquia
Aruba
Azores
Belarus
Bolivar
Bophuthatswana
Buenos Aires
Ciskei
Cordoba
Corrientes
Cundinamarca
Czech Republic
Lombardy
Lombardy-Venetia
Northern Nigeria
Northern Rhodesia
Southern Nigeria
Southern Rhodesia
Transkei
Venda
Zimbabwe

Angra is a island department of the Azores and had no overprints, but the Azores has overprints up the wazoo.

Belarus , well my newest Cat is 1995!
Afars & Issas was an easy one to miss, had I been reading the notes.

Please excuse my ignorance but I don't understand. Found some copies of Azores overprinted with Republica, is that what your comment refers to?

How about other areas of the Azores: Horta, and Ponta Delgada?

Thanks for the clarification. I thought it may have been an area or river (if they have rivers) in the Azores.

I've never heard that expression before.
