Hello all. I was not sure where to post this one, so if it needs moving I apologize. I was going through some of my grandfather's FDCs and found this little item. These have been in storage over 40 years so I do not know when this was acquired, or from where. It is interesting, but I have no clue as to what it may be. The item is thick paper like a postcard. Any ideas? Someone know for sure? Any help would be appreciated.

As I do not collect anything but US and German stamps I am just curious on information on this.

Thank you in advance.

The spot on the top right was on the scanner, sorry.

The only thing I can find so far from my Scott 2009 vol 4 catalog is on page 1359.
Maybe it is Scott # 22, year 1862, pelure paper , imperforated, but it states it is a pale dull ultra and 22c is a gray blue in color. Both have high dollar values if this is it. I hope I have gotten you closer.

So, according to the above site, the chalon head that you have sirruspoe is the Hausburg reprints on white card. 1000 sheets from plate II, and only 6 sheets from plate I. To determine which you have is beyond my scope. You would probably need access to the plate proofs to identify correctly.
And if you find a way, let me know since mine are on a thick white card as well.
