Do these even count as cancellations?

I think these are more like machine marks rather than cancels, since they are all in a single straight line.

No cancellation anywhere on the envelope.

Received these with the wonderful Precision U.S Specialty Multi-Gauge rev 5.1 that some kind person (or maybe several have mentioned it) on this forum. It's awesome, Thanks for the suggestion!

Locations of "cancel"
UPU: under & through the 74, also ink well opening, etc.
Javelin: right in the chest
A of C: under the nia (you might not see this mark in the scan)
Ben: about 1/3 of the way up right side.

I hate these kinds of stamps. They aren't mint, but they aren't really used enough to count as used. So, they make a totally confusing space filler in my albums. That is, they look mint behind my mounts, making my collection not quite as good, but hard to tell.

You could re-use them as postage, but my ethics would hold me back from that. I have trouble compromising ethics to get a free 85 cents.

I'm tempted to trash them when I get such examples.
