I have just had to use my stamp tongs to unblock a hard-to-reach pipe in my washing machine. I have to say it was very effective...but it is a sad reflection of how little actual stamping I have done lately that this is the best I can manage by way of a contribution to SCF at the moment... Anyone else going to own up to unorthodox uses of stamp equipment?...

I used tongs to remove a splinter from one of my boy's fingers one day while at the park. I've also used tongs to remove items from the vacuum cleaner hose. Those plastic quarters from the play money set are a pain in the you-know-what to get out! Tongs have also been used to pluck my eyebrows when I have been travelling and forgot tweezers. Hooray for tongs! |

Puzzler, well done I make my own cigarettes and I use my stamp tongs to push the tobacco out of my machine when I miss a cigarette. At home I smoke only in the garage. |

Hmmm Spanishmoss has stamp tongs on hand at the park. Was there potential for a cloak and dagger stamp swap behind the swing set?? |

Stamp tongs work well when putting small decals on model airplanes. It's the best thing that I found that would work.

Puzzler Neat thread! I use long pointy tweezers which are excellent for removing staples, Slide the staple to the top of the handpiece and "plip" off they come, without damage to the tweezers. |
