Norwich CT - How To Distinguish 703 From L-2 E ?

Anyone know how to distinguish Norwich CT 703 from L-2 E?

I am probably missing something obvious, right?

PS I think I found it and yes it's obvious: the lines above and below the lettering stop right where the lettering finishes on L-2E and they continue way past the lettering on 703. I actually only have 1 example of L-2E here even though I have about 20 of #703 and it took me a long time to work out which one was different. Think of one of those puzzles with 20 near-identical faces and you have to find each difference til you are left with the two that are exactly the same.
