Can anyone please give me info on this WW1 GERMAN OCCUPATION BALTICS KRANKENSCHEINGEBUHR 25 with overprint. Unable to trace it. JamesSW has mentioned it might be something from a medical certificate / revenue stamp.
I'm not 100% sure. I think it was a form of health insurance voucher which was presented to the doctor at the time of care. There was a small fee (deductible, perhaps?), which would explain the use of a revenue stamp.
