Hi Cul_lector.
I'm not sure what the error is you might be referring to, other than the terrible centring.
This is SC#786 from the 1936-37 Army Commemorative series.

Why would you say "error"? Are you referring to the fact that the stamp is poorly centered and the design runs into the top perforation? If so, that is very typical of many US stamps from this time period. They are considered by most collectors to be less desirable than a perfectly centered specimen.

I have this eye disease(Retinitis Pigmentosa), and sometimes it's difficult to tell about a stamp, even after I have scanned it..Some letters look like other letters, like the I in States..Be patient with me, and don't flip out if I make a mistake..Thnx for all your comments...Cul_Lector

I just discovered 2 entire panes of this stamp (and a few others) in my collection that I didn't even know I had also, Scott #790, #792, #793 & #794.

I've searched through my collection and still am finding stamps I didn[t know I had. Do you have a large collection, Jrff?
