What is the best way to sell a collection? Auction or just pick a company? What and who would you recommend? Golden Valley holds an online and combined auction House. Mystic will buy them outright. A friend has a pretty valuable collection of her late Husband's that she wants to sell. Need advice quickly as she is in Financial distress.

If she needs cash quickly, selling to a dealer is probably the fastest means of disposal. You might want to direct her to the APS Estate Advice webpage at http://stamps.org/Estate-Advice . From the " inherited a Collection?" page she can find APS dealers in her area.
