My Grandmother's Stamp Collection

Hello:

We are new to the stamp community. My husband has a lot of stamps his grandmother collected over the years (many appear to be from late 1800's and early 1900's).

We enjoy looking at the stamp collection but don't have near the passion and appreciation that true collectors might have for them. We are seeking a new home for them so we decided to join the Stamp Community Family to find out more about the stamps we have.

Oh helyer7 give it time. It is an isidious hobby. Once you start looking it, all the stamps team up and begin to invade all you senses and your perception. You will be collectors, resistance will be futile and the best part is, we all suffer from the same disease and LOVE IT. You will find friends and lots of information here (or as little as you want). It sounds more to me that you want to get a fair price for the stamps and want to investigate and learn about them. That is good. The more you know about what you have the better chance of appreciating it or of selling it. Or whatever you choose to do.
