I have a question about blocks of stamps. If there are folds between the perforations so that the stamp blocks bend very easily, would this effect the value compared to a crisp block with no folds in between the perforations. Thanks, and I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.

Not a stupid question! But, yes, the folds in the stamp blocks would tend to make them less desirable and diminish their value, especially if the stamps are very common issues.

On some of the earlier issues, collectors are more forgiving, in part, because the stamps are more scarce and generally command a higher value than most of the modern material.

Like anything else in stamp collecting, condition is everything!

No such thing as a stupid question here.

If you don't ask at all, you won't get an answer <G.

Also if it is not a plate block and not a scarce piece then it's simply value of Stamp X 4 or whatever size the block is as the Premium on blocks is with a Plate number.

Lovely blocks, too bad the perfs are into the design. Pretty much the norm for the Officials.
