Fresh from the recent Robert A. Siegel auction, two bisects on documents, presumably R69e and R72e (neither one is listed in Scott). Both have clean Philatelic Foundation certificates. I have not seen any references to other bisects of these denominations.

I'm quite pleased with them and they cost less than I was expecting. I think that Siegel may have done them a disservice in the lot listings as they only depicted closeups of the stamp portions, and it was not apparent from the text that they were COMPLETE documents and not just tiny fragments. I was uncertain myself, and contacted Siegel for clarification and got high resolution scans of the complete documents and the certs prior to the auction. I wonder how many people may have skipped them...

No one has remarked on the fact that the top doc is written in French! (As occasionally seen in Louisiana)

They are both from the State of Louisiana, St. Martin Parish. One in French, one in English. Louisiana has parishes instead of counties.
