My latest quandary. Here, I have an A10 Imperf.
I believe that it is a type II due to right inner line recut.
Color doesn't show up too well, but is a Brown shade.
Dot in lower right diamond block?
What about the gap in the upper right diamond block?
Any help identifying would be appreciated.

Thanks Russ. I was wondering about the gap in the top
diamond block. All of the other versions that I have seen
have completely closed diamond blocks. Maybe just a simple
anomaly.

The top right diamond block is normal. It is however joined to the label block which is a collectible recutting "error" of sorts.

The dot in the lower right corner is a common occurance on many 3c 1851 stamps. It is a guide dot. The listed "dot in lower right diamond block" variety, has the dot exactly in the middle of the white diamond. Your stamp is not that variety, obviously.

Thanks Sinclair. Your advice helps me to identify
these difficult items. Unfortunately, it also helps
to lower the potential value of my collection
