Another Perfin ID Question: Cr&i

Any ideas as to the user of this perfin?

I know there is a perfin with a diagonal "CRI" (no ampersand) that is identified as Chicago River & Indiana Railroad, but I'm not sure if the example scanned is another version of it or an entirely different entity.

Any ideas?

Interestingly, the perfin is on a 2c Arbor Day stamp from 1932.

Sorry - I looked but I'm no help on this one. My revenue perfin catalog doesn't list it and doesn't really give any clue to a similar company that it could be.

Same user.... this is catalogged as C299, the CEI-diagonal is C291.

So if I understand correctly, you're saying CR&I as scanned is (Type C299), as opposed to the CRI diagonal perfin (Type C291), both assigned to the Chicago River & Indiana Railroad.
