David, the fife reminds me of my nephew Brian..i looked up to him when he was a green beret medic..but now hes balding with glasses and trades gas and electric for a Boston energy firm..anyway he goes to these revolutionary war encampments puts on these old fashioned little glasses and plays the fife when they parade !!
You know, you would think these would have sentimental meaning for me...and perhaps it's true, a renewed meaning after all this time given my current circumstances. But for the longest time it's at in a box meaning very little to me. Now if I had only saved the envelopes intact all these years...hm.
Truth now, I have more stamps now than I can possibly imagine what to do with...suggest possible more than a few collective imaginations here combined can solve. Maybe now that you mention, this may be a good place for my boy to start by finishing off the book. He is nearly 6 y/o to answer. Fortunately I have enough stamps to give him to fill the spots. I trailed off on last post and didn't finish saying that I lost interest because I had gone as far as I had stamps, and the rest was many duplicates and didn't really have means to getting "that next one" to fill the spaces. I had no one close to me that had anything to do with stamp collecting, so it just kind of fell off.
Anyway, let me know if you are needing any stamps to help you along with your new book. I may have just what you need.
