This a strange one.

Stamps from Swindon UK arrived a bit late with this label. The whole trip only took about 2 weeks. The address is fine, the return address on the back looks good.

So is this for real or a funny label that the seller added? I suppose I should ask the seller - but I can only get to him through ebay and dont want to anger the gods. I was wondering if anyone else had seen this sort of thing.

It would be a far reach to suggest this but could the term USA have been mixed up in the UK and someone directed the parcel to the University of South Australia (also abbreviated USA)?

We all need a good holiday and Australia is a good choice.

Which is beautiful one day and perfect the next.

Hope the parcel did not live it up at one of those expensive resorts.

It could add a lot of extra cost to the mailing.

Another possibility (although the vacation scenario is a strong likelihood) is that the UK clerk processing the package had dyslexia and misinterpreted USA as AUS.

Possibly had to use up some frequent flyer miles?

Whatever happened...I think it makes a pretty cool cover. Going into the "keeper" pile.
