I am looking forward to the stamp featuring John Ford director of The Grapes of Wrath. Of course, I will be tying this into my route 66 collection. It had me wondering what towns did John Steinbeck have the Joad's travel thru from Oklahoma to California that are actually cited in the book. Then to expand upon that how many of those towns still have a post office...

My eyes were deceiving me ... I thought you said "great DICTATORS" and I had to immediately see what you were talking about. I wonder if Admiral General Aladeen has a postage stamp with his image on it?!?

I'm glad to not be the only one who picks up these new stamps on the first day of issue!
