I need some help with this one. Can't seem to find a type like this in the catalog.

Why not a Type 466? Condensed caps are 3.8mm high and lines are 12mm apart. How does that compare to your example?

My old 1973 catalogue lists this as
a L-1 HS. It probably has a new
number now.

466 it is.....thanks, didn't measure the lines before I posted. The font just looked a little thick to me, but it could be a worn device.

Pulled a Monorvia CA 466 and scan it along side the Hayward in question. Still not convienced that the Hayward is a 466. Hmmmm
