Here I have Two French stamps of same design but look diffrent in color is that normal ?

Generally, yes. It is most likely a printing that was made later on from the same plate and the colour has faded.

Or, over the years, the second stamp has seen more sun than the first stamp and thus faded.

Could be some chemical reaction from stuff in the air nowadays also. Or the type of water soaked in (it being a used stamp) or the length of time having been soaked).

Looks like the right stamp has been faded but not in difference shade but I really have a chinese stamp with a difference shade showing on my other topic in this forum.Please check it out over there and let me know what you think about it.Thank you.

I have few japanese stamps I have two 5rn one is grey the other is pink but same design and I cant find it in stanley gibbon.

That's certainly the case with MY treskilling yellow!

But seriously, this looks more like a dry printing (right stamp) than fading in my opinion. There are simply too many colorless spots to have been washed or faded.

I don't find any minor number shades reported in the 2009 Maury (Ceres & Dallay) catalogue for this stamp.
