Welcome to the Forum Lonedan.

I'm afraid I don't know much about plateblocks but someone will be along that can tell you about them.

I should let you know that we are not suppose to post in capitals (something about it being equal to yelling when you're talking.)

Dianne

Welcome Lonedan!
Scott's Catalogue lists values for used PNC's. You can check out your local library for that. You can also order Hebert's PNC values Catalog from stampwants.com or from the APNSS (American Plate Number Single Society)-- Runs about $28 for Hebert's. I just ordered one last week. Generally speaking, any plate numbered coils on cover usually have a higher value than just the stamp. You were wise to keep those! I recently saw a "Toledo Brown " on cover on ebay selling for starting price of $999! Blows my mind!

Remember that condition plays a big part in the value!

Welcome, LoneDan.

Gussy:

I have the 2005 Durland Plate Number Catalogue. If you need any information from that, just ask!

Sorry to all.
I have not been on the net for a time.
I appreciate all your comments.
I think I have about 50 covers with plate numbers.
My library does not a scotts usa specialized.
You all are great to help each other.
Sometimes other sites just tell you to go to a local dealer.
