New Member Need Some Infoon A Old Stamp I Have

i have an old stamp collection that I got from my grandfather the stamp I have I would like some info on it I got the Warnan's you s stamp field guide the stamp in question is a 1906 5 cents Lincoln in used also the same stamp was issued in 1903 how can I tell the two stamps apart to see if I have the 1903 which is worth about 20 cents or the 1906 which is worth about 950.00 to me they both look the same the book my granddad left he has in in the 1906 spot any help on identifying that stamp would help me out thanks

I suppose your talking about either a #304 and/or a #315? a blue 5¢ "series 1902" issue Lincoln? Try looking at this link. It may help you. (you still need to post an picture [or better yet a scan] of it for us to help at all.)

I would like to echo Tomiseksj's suggestion that you post an image of your stamp in the US section. If you are asking about the difference between Scott #304 and #315, the answer is #304 has perforations around the outside of the stamp whereas #315 if imperf( straight edges)
