I just received the stamps today, I bought from ebay.. total 6 stamps. I attach the certificates, please help me if this certificates original ? the stamp look like usual printing, not a stamp. some look like printed on white paper.
Can I retur in ebay ? I try to ask seller, if the stamp real or duplicate or specimen or only sample, he said not understand what I ask, and also said Stamp code 002, is not the same as 2. Can anyone help me, if the nederland indies stamp have other type call 002 in catalog and not 2 ? My Indonesia stamp catalog only have stamp code 1, 2 etc..

thks alot for your help

Hi tjetjun,

They look like facsimiles to me, which I believe is what is written above the stamps. Not certain as it's not too easy to tell from the scan.
How much did you pay for them ???
What is the catalogue value ??

Can you send a link of the sale so we can see what is written ??

If you have been 'done' and need some help, just post a message here.
If you can answer the above questions we would be grateful

Londonbus1.

Yes, the 'certificate' is telling you that they are 100% authentic and official facsimiles !

That means the Postal Service agreed for someone to make a photocopy of their stamps !

Facsimile: a reproduction of a genuine postage stamp, intended for souvenir value and not meant to defraud..i would love to have seen that sellers listing. The Neth Indies #2 of King William III catalogs 1300 euros mint and 225 euros used !

I think I would start by contacting the seller and explain why you want to cancel your bid or purchase.

That seller had a lot of bad feedback..but she did explain that the numbers with zeros were facsimiles...i would e mail the seller its possible she will return your money..i do not think ebay would help in a dispute but they may have some arbitration..eBays policy is let the buyer beware !!

€50 for a facsimile !

I would definitely write to him/her for a refund.
Complain nicely at first.

But do it.
Sellers like this should not be allowed to get away with it.

I have found PayPal strange in the way disputes are handled.
There may not be a way to reply before they review it.

It looks as if the the seller supplied a tracking number. I don't
know how tracking works in your country or between your country
and hers. Was it registered and did you sign for it? If so, that
could be a problem unless you are given the chance to explain
yourself better.

If PayPal denies refunding your funds, or even if it does, I would
open a dispute with ebay. There is a place right on the board from
which you can do it under ebay Auction Violation Reporting:

Tjetjun, I just tried it again and see a form for ebay customer
support. You should be able to find it from the ebay web site
if you don't see it here.

If you open a complaint on ebay against a seller..his id is blocked from further selling until the dispute is resolved..that was just covered in the ebay seminar we attended today..so if the seller wants to keep on doing business on ebay...he better refund the money !!

Im no ebay expert but looking at the feedback it seems a heck of a lot of feedback is from the same "buyers" on multiple purchases on the same day. This is repeated throughout the feedback history.
From what I understood if you buy from one seller many items or even two you are only allowed to leave 1 feedback.
I could be wrong but thats been my experience.

To be honest the multiple good feedbacks look like an attempt to bury the bad feedback.
