Scott #900 Over Inked/ Gripper Cracks? (USa.)

I just found a (U.S.A.) Scott #900 2˘ 90mm. Anti-Aircraft gun (10/16/'40)- that appears to have been over-inked and has smears through it. Look directly over the 90mm. Anti-Aircraft gun's barrel and breach and you will notice a few streaks. I know this doesn't add any sort of premium or anything but philatelic-ally speaking it's a pretty neat find for such a common stamp I think anyway!

I like it a lot too! I have hundreds of these and never spent any real time looking at them. My father left me about 30,000 stamps. most are from this era. He either bought them or saved them in bundles of 100 bound with thread. I busted open another issue and didn't find anything. Maybe I'll bust open some of these. Since there isn't listed varieties in Scott I never bothered.
