Hi Rem.......
All that matters is whether or not you are happy with the pages. |

I just came back from Staples where I purchased some of their 67lb cover stock (item 679539). This paper is off-white/ivory colored, acid free, and the results from printing with my Photosmart B9180 are really satisfying. Cheers... Rem |

Nice to see that others are using those pages. I wonder if anyone has been able to successfully modify the pages. Apparently you must use Pagemaker to do that...an expensive proposition. The only thing that I would like to add are page numbers and the Scott catalog numbers, which were left off because of copyright issues. Cheers... Rem |

Diane's post about keeping a journal motivates me to ask about sources for acquiring batches of used US stamps. As a newbie I would love a heads up on some sources. I have been getting MNH and plate blocks off of ebay, but since deciding on also collecting used issues I haven't settled on a strategy for kick starting that collection. TIA... Rem |

Hey! ya know ! I think I mentioned about Stampalbums.com on here somewhere when I was telling about what I collect. Anyway, I just renewed for my 3rd year with them. have made an Australia, Canada, Ireland and am working on the U.S. now, going from 2007 backward , I'm back to 1970. The reason he can't put the Scott #'s in is because of the copyright. What I do is print a set of pages on stampalbums. then print out the scott numbers I need on my spreadsheet. Then I cut and paste the squares and numbers on to a blank page with the border. And scan and print the new page. It comes out great. BTW; I also rearrange the squares so all stamps are in exact Scott number order. Man, it's fantastic. AHOAL of work, though. Also, for me, I mentioned cut & paste, I never figured out how to do that on the computer. spent hours trying. the heck with it. I use scissors, paper glue & scotch tape. I mean literrally cut & paste. Major pain but boy is it worth it. I have a space for every single stamp in the catalog in order with a's and b's and c's. I can set my album down in front of the computer and go right through it searching for stamps I need; piece of cake.If I could do that pic thing i'd show you. 9and thanks guys, but i've tried the photo bucket deal, still can't get it to work. they get lost in cyberspace or something. I think my miss Piggy stamp ended up on the "Girls gone wild" site once. lol |

You know, there has to be a better solution. Those stampalbums.com pages really are terrific, except for the fact that they lack the proprietary Scott numbers. Of course, the simple solution is to get the original files, which are available on the website, and modify them via PageMaker 6.5...but who's going to spend the kind of money that would entail? PageMaker is hideously expensive. I suppose that one could also modify the down-loadable pdf files, but that would also entail having and editable version of Adobe Acrobat...another expensive proposition.
