no gum stamps

here are a few of the no gum stamps that I have.
all the stamps are in nice condition but no gum.
how do you determine a value?

another question is if you do not see a cancel and no gum is it considered mint no gum?
i ask this question because I do not see a cancel on the 114.
too bad the 11

Dan, yes for your second question. Normally it would be mint no gum, except for a few special ones.
As for pricing Scott does publish a added value supplement catalog for the US specialized with values for NG.

Dan the above stamps relatively speaking are low value even with gum for the exception of the #404 San Francisco. The real truth is the market will value these stamps. I would expect them to be at least 25% to 30% lower than the MNH. Again the one exception is the #404 which is nicely centered it may be closer to the MHN price.

The #404 which books for around $62 used can go over $125 at the best grading. I could not find any real good data for a Mint NG or MNH at this grading. A true book value for a MNH is $900.

Mac gave you a good answer however without a certificate many buyers might not be willing to pay more than a used value for either of the above stamps. The main reason is that there are a good many altered stamps with no gum that have been successfully cleaned of their cancellation.

I hope this helps but to be honest the true value depends on the market, condition and I will toss in certification for a Mint Non gum for these stamps.

This is my opinion - right or wrong..

For example the 3 cent Jackson is either a #253 or #268. The MHN value is around $60 & $30. However the #253 can range form $900 to as low as $14 depending on the grading. The one I just looked at for $14 MNH looks like it would grade the same as yours above.

The $268 can go as low as $5.00 M & light hinged.
