Sometimes two stamps can be identified by what ink was used. On some stamps the ink is "gummier" than others, causing the engraved lines to touch each other in various levels of severity. But I have forgotten the issues where this would be an issue.

Does anyone have a link to something on the internet, or other information that discusses this in detail?
